Moscow waiting for investors
The capital booth at Expo Real was dedicated to transport and integrated development of territories
This week in Munich hosted the international exhibition of commercial real estate and investment Expo Real. It has been held annually in the capital of Bavaria since 1998; representatives of state and municipal institutions, construction companies, architectural bureaus, banks, developers, investors, experts and other real estate and investment professionals from around the world participate in it. Representatives of Russia are traditionally present at the forum. This year, at the 360-square-meter Moscow stand meters were presented investment projects in the field of infrastructure, improving the urban environment and reprofiling of historical buildings. A number of conferences, plenary sessions and round tables were held here. Foreign guests were told about new opportunities for the banking and construction sectors that are opening up in connection with the implementation of the national project “Housing and Urban Environment”. The issues of transport development of the capital and the implementation of the program for the construction of transport hubs as drivers for the development of territories were also discussed.
Particular attention was paid to New Moscow. Russian experts shared their experience in the development of the annexed territories. “New Moscow is a mega-project capable of generating a stream of private investment. Over the past seven years, about $ 20 billion has been invested in the development of territories,” said Vladimir Zhidkin, head of the New Territories Development Department of Moscow. – At the same time, only every fourth ruble of these investments was invested from the city budget, all other funds were invested by private business. I am sure that this trend of development of new territories will continue. Moreover, we are faced with the task of increasing the flow of private investment in the development of new districts of Moscow. ”
In Moscow, we would like to see foreign investors. “A number of projects include the construction of shopping centers, multifunctional complexes and hotels,” said Albert Suniev, First Deputy General Director for Development of Mosinzhproekt JSC. – In this regard, we, of course, admit and even invite representatives of international business to participate in tenders and implement such projects. I’ll say more, a number of foreign companies are interested in certain projects. ” Representatives of Mosinzhproekt said that they are carefully studying international experience and are open to cooperation in the implementation of major infrastructure and urban projects.
There is a reverse movement. According to Marat Khusnullin, the deputy mayor of Moscow for urban planning and construction issues, the capital’s builders have already gained such a range of competencies, knowledge and experience that today offers come to work in other countries, for example, India, some African and Asian states.
