The volume of investments in fixed assets of Moscow showed high dynamics. Over the past nine years, it has grown to about 3 trillion rubles a year, the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, said on Thursday at a meeting of the supervisory board of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“Over the past nine years, the volume of investments in fixed assets has increased in comparable figures by 2.3 times and approached 3 trillion rubles a year. This is a huge amount and very high dynamics. Of course, none of the measures can give such a result; this is a set of measures for the development of the city as a whole. This is the very appearance of the city, and a comfortable environment, and the development of this environment, and large infrastructure projects, such as: the construction of the metro, the Moscow Central Ring, Moscow Central Diameters, suburban communications, large road projects and the development of engineering infrastructure, which ensures the commissioning of capital objects ”, – said Sobyanin.

He noted that many procedures in the city have been significantly simplified and accelerated. For example, connection to utility networks. Earlier in the capital, 150 days were allotted for this, now – 25 days, that is, the connection times have decreased six times. In many ways, these processes are automated, and applicants do not have to collect a lot of papers and applications.

According to the mayor, the competitive placement of state orders is also playing an active role. About 36 regions of Russia have already connected to the supplier portal, which was created in Moscow. This means that 160 thousand small businesses can participate in online purchases in 36 regions. These are small purchases, but this is the very niche that small businesses use.

“Every month we see an increase in the demand for this portal. And, of course, tax investment incentives, which are being undertaken by the Russian government, and city programs to support business are of no small importance, ”Sobyanin added.
