A record amount of roads since the beginning of this year – about 116 kilometers. This was announced by Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin.
“Since the beginning of the year 116 km of roads have been commissioned, including such important roads for the city as the sections of the Kaluga Highway and the Northwest Chord, the road from Kiev to the Kaluga Highway and the Likhachev Avenue at the ZIL,” Sergei Sobyanin said at the opening of the Northeast chords from Festival Street to Dmitrov highway.
In addition, the city built 55 artificial structures – bridges, tunnels and overpasses, and 18 pedestrian crossings. A day earlier in Moscow, another section of the North-Eastern chord was opened from the Shosse Entuziastov to the Moscow Ring Road.
