12 banks can keep SRO funds

The Central Bank of the Russian Federation has approved the list of banks which are allowed to keep finances of SRO compensation funds (self-regulatory organizations) in construction sector. The list was formed by the Ministry of Construction of Russia.

“Until November 1 of this year, SROs must transfer monetary means of compensation funds in these banks,” reports the Ministry.

The list includes: Unicredit Bank, Gazprombank, “VTB”, Alfa-Bank, Sberbank, “VTB 24”, Moscow Credit Bank, FK “Otkrytie”, Rosbank, Promsvyazbank, Raiffeisenbank and Rosselkhozbank.

In the late September, the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has signed a resolution on the requirements for banks, which  are allowed for keeping assets of SRO compensation funds. One of the main criteria is the presence of own funds not less than 100 billion rubles.
