37 Russian cities will be modernized within the framework of the project “digital construction”


Head of the Ministry of Construction Vladimir Yakushev, speaking at the VII Moscow International Forum “Open Innovations”, which was held in the innovation center of Skolkovo, said that 37 cities from 33 subjects of the Russian Federation agreed to become pilot sites for implementing the technologies of the Smart City project “. The latter are sections of the national project “Digital Economy”, calculated for implementation until 2024.

The Ministry of Construction is simultaneously involved in two projects that are interconnected with regard to the processes of creating modern urban infrastructure and its efficient operation.
“Every building has a life cycle, and we want to see it in the“ number ”from the moment of its design. When all this will be seen technologically, it will be displayed on our cities and will become part of the “Smart City” project, – explained Vladimir Yakushev.
He also promised that the implementation of smart digital technologies in Russian cities would not be limited to 2024.
“Because the tasks are global, and the“ Smart City ”project is endless. As a person develops, so do our cities, ”the minister concluded.

Recall that the national project “Digital Economy” was developed by the Government in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of 07.05.2018 No. 204 “On the national goals and strategic objectives of the development of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2024”. The total budget of the national project, which also includes the Digital Construction and Smart City projects, will amount to over 3.5 trillion rubles, including 2 trillion rubles. budget funds.
