Anton Zharkov: the new control and supervisory practices should not become an administrative barriers
The control and supervisory practices that will be used in the implementation of the renovation program in Moscow should not become administrative barriers for developers, State Duma deputy Anton Zharkov said at a meeting of the expert council under the State Duma committee on transport and construction.
“In this matter, it is also important for us to ensure that the new practices of supervision and control do not in any way hamper the pace of construction, or become administrative barriers – that’s exactly what I would call our respected experts”, he said.
The parliamentarian invited colleagues and experts to look at the problems of control and supervision activities in terms of the program for renovating the housing stock of the capital and try new control and supervisory practices that could later be extended to the whole country.
“The program is unprecedented in its scope, and therefore we will need unprecedented control measures to build quickly, efficiently, safely and without disturbing the peace of Moscow citizens”, Zharkov said.
