Bim will be implemented in three stages in Moscow
Specialists of the Moscow City Planning Policy Department developed a program for implementing BIM technologies in three stages, Oleg Ryndin, First Deputy Head of the Department, said at the PROESTATE-2019 International Investment Forum on Real Estate.
“We suggest first learning how to work with specific objects in a particular area. In addition, you need to integrate the information model into all estimated programs. It should not be separated from the whole process. It is necessary that during project changes information is constantly updated – for example, project cost”, said Oleg Ryndin.
The official said that the second stage will be the transition to BIM during the planning and assessment of the territory.
“We would like the planning project and its description to become a serious help, a source of initial data. And their use would be accompanied by the creation of new administrative regulations in obtaining initial information”, Oleg Ryndin emphasized.
He added that the third stage is the creation of a complete information model of the city.
“This should be a single source of relevant and reliable data for the work of executive authorities. If we have a detailed model of the territory, then the demand for this information will increase sharply. But now all this data needs to be collected in different places and organizations”, concluded Oleg Ryndin.
