24.06.2020

The use of information modeling technologies (BIM) may become mandatory in the design and construction of facilities for state orders as early as 2021, said Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.

“In the near future, we plan to complete the formation of a regulatory framework for the use of information modeling technologies, so that no later than 2021 we will begin the mandatory use of digital models of objects in the field of public procurement,” he said.

Previously, the corresponding measure was included in the draft National Plan for the recovery of the economy from the negative consequences of the coronavirus pandemic.
