BIM-zone for the first time presented at the ARCH Moscow exhibition
For the first time at the ARCH Moscow exhibition, which opened in the Central House of Artists on May 16 the educational platform BIM-ZONE, dedicated to the application of information modeling (BIM) technologies in architecture is presented. This was announced by Deputy Mayor of Moscow on Urban Development Policy and Construction Marat Khusnullin.
“BIM-technologies are becoming an integral part of the construction in Moscow. Russia has a strategy to translate the economy into digital format by 2035. And we have a direct commission from the mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin, about the introduction of BIM-technologies in the projects of the city order. Therefore, the platform where practice can be exchanged and constructive discussion will undoubtedly give an impetus to the development of such technologies in the city” – said Marat Khusnullin.
The site will feature well-known architects, developers of BIM solutions, experts and consultants who are working to develop practices of applying information modeling technology. Also for the participants will be lectures, master classes, workshops and discussions of useful cases on information modeling.
Recall that the BIM-model gives the opportunity to manage the construction at all stages, from the creation of the project and to its input. This technology can be used in the operation of the facility.
