Construction barriers will be reduced in the frames of anti-crisis plan

Russian government has elaborated an anti-crisis plan on reduction of administrative barriers in construction filed, vice-premier announced during the briefing. 

Deputy prime minister said that today developers have to pass about 100 conciliations during design and construction, some of them are unnecessary.

“In timing, for example, from an idea to commissioning construction process of a house, school, pre-school takes up to five years, construction itself takes about two and half years”, – Marat Khusnullin said.

Vice-premier announced that elaborated decisions mainly have technical nature, but they will be useful for construction companies.

“We have elaborated an anti-crisis-plan which includes procedures that we can minimize in governmental and housing construction. We have prepared several amendments to the Urban planning Code which will let accelerate procedures. For example, public hearings can be conducted in electronic format, taking into account current situation”, – Marat Khusnullin added.
