Construction companies should withdraw from third-party suppliers – Dmitry Kozak
Construction companies operating in the state order system have to withdraw from third-party suppliers, told Dmitry Kozak, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.
He has reminded that in the framework of the reform of pricing in construction it has been decided to create a nationwide monitoring of construction products cost, and to form the initial estimated cost of objects of the state order on its basis.
The Head of the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation Mikhail Men told reporters on Tuesday that Glavgosekspertiza will be the operator of the state information system for pricing in construction. According to him, the work to replace reference&index method of pricing in construction with a resource method is now underway, and it is impossible without fixing and continuous monitoring of the cost of resources.
At the same time the Deputy Prime Minister drew attention to the fact that the builders have to cut costs and decline the services of third-party suppliers.
“The construction business is experiencing hard times due to the economic difficulties. It is necessary to improve efficiency and reduce costs. competition for orders has increased,” he said.
