Digitalization is the priority in the development of the network of Moscow
Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin called digitalization a priority task in the program for the development of the network economy of the capital. During the inspection of the electrical substation “Elokhovskaya” PJSC “MOESK” last week, the mayor stated that by 2023 the regime of digital control of the city’s power supply networks should be introduced.
The general director of “MOESK” Peter Sinyutin noted that the company is also actively involved in the work on reducing the terms of connection with power networks. So, in recent years, the connection to electricity networks with a capacity of up to 150 kilowatts (according to the World Bank’s Doing Business rating) has decreased 3.5 times – from 281 days in 2012 to 80 days in 2017.
“We are not slowing down the pace here: if we had 80 days last year, now we reduce the terms of connection for small businesses to 75 days. Today there are no restrictions in Moscow, we attach to any point, and I report to you that in Moscow today the reserve capacity is 4200 megawatts. That is, in principle for business, for urban programs, for the subway there are no restrictions, technical capacity is there with a few years’ delay, said Pyotr Sinyutin.
