Electricity connections reduced to 25 days

Starting July 1, 2020, the Rosseti Moscow Region Company (MOESK) simplifies the process of technical connection to electric networks with a capacity of up to 150 kW for small and medium-sized enterprises in Moscow and the Moscow Region.

All services and workflow of the company are fully converted into electronic form. In the “My Account”, the client can apply for technical connection and receive a package of documents, including the terms of the contract, technical conditions, invoice for payment and information on the connection procedure. You can also make an invoice payment and track the progress of the application review.

“A simple registration form on the technical connection portal and a guide on it, giving electronic tips for each step of filing an application, calculators for calculating the required power and cost of connection, allow you to file an electronic application within 15 minutes if you have all the necessary documents for attachment in electronic form. You can also attach photographs of documents taken on a mobile phone’s camera,” said Alisa Manaka, director of the department for controlling the activities of technological connections of Rosseti Moscow Region.

In addition, from July 1, the grid company will begin at its own expense to install electricity meters at the connected facilities, draw up acts and notifications to the sales company about the installation and access of electricity meters. This will save time on inspections of customer devices and reduce the time of technical connection to 25 days, the company said.
