The Exhibition&Forum “IT-technologies in urban development” opened in the “House on Brestskaya” (Information Center of Moscow Construction Complex). It will be held until May 27.
“Moscow is one of the leading cities of the world, in recent years it has made a big technological breakthrough in all areas including urban planning. Sergey Levkin noted that in 2011 the Mayor of Moscow, Sergey Sobyanin called reducing administrative barriers one of the main tasks for the city. From that time Moscow is actively converting state services to electronic format using IT-technologies.
“Today, 12 out of the 14 state services related to construction are available online. Since the beginning of 2016 developers have submitted more than 5.6 thousand applications via the Moscow portal of state services. This is a good but not the only begotten result in the portfolio of the Moscow government on introduction of information technologies,” said Sergey Levkin.
According to him, another priority for development of construction industry is BIM-technology. The Department of urban planning policy of Moscow together with Moskomekspertiza (Committee of Moscow on the state examination of projects and pricing in construction) elaborated the plan for gradual introduction of 3D-modeling of buildings in the area of civil engineering.
“IT-technologies offer undeniable competitive advantage! I am sure that at this forum everyone can find what he seeks: from interesting ideas and contacts to common projects,” concluded Sergey Levkin.
