Exhibition&Forum “IT-technologies in urban development” to start on May 17
Tomorrow, May 17, the Exhibition&Forum «IT-technologies in urban development” will be opened in the “House on Brestskaya” (Information Center of Moscow Construction Complex).
The key idea of the Forum is to inform architects, designers, builders and other interested parties on successful use of information technologies in construction sector.
According to Sergey Levkin, Head of the Moscow urban planning policy department, priorities of today are cost and energy efficiency and high quality of construction. Such tasks were set before the industry by the Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin.
“The use of information technologies allows to eliminate engineering errors and improve quality of expert opinions, to reduce the term of expert examination, as well as reduce the construction expenses due to design faults,” said Sergey Levkin.
On the first day of the forum the discussion will be devoted to development and implementation of IT-technologies at all stages of lifecycle urban objects – from design to its disposal. These stages include obtaining state services in electronic format.
Participants will focus on global trends in the use of information technologies in urban planning activities and offer their technological solutions for optimization of interaction of state and business structures.
On the second day of the exhibition the participants will focus on the training of human resources in the field of information technologies.
