Experts of the World Bank positively estimated the reforms carried out in Russia
Russia is in constant interaction with the World Bank and is conducting gradual reforms in the field of business regulation, which allows it to improve its position in the Doing Business rating, said Julia Ulk, senior economist and vice president for economics at the bank.
“Russia is carrying out ongoing reforms in various areas of business, improving its regulatory business environment and raising business points,” she said, adding that Russia also has effective regulatory processes for registering commercial real estate.
Julia Ulka recalled that in the Doing Business 2019 rating, which includes ten indicators, Russia has the highest rates of connection to electricity (94 out of 100) and high scores on other indicators.
Recall that in the World Bank’s annual ranking on the ease of doing business, Russia climbed four points and ranked 31st among 190 countries, and by the availability of obtaining a building permit, 67 positions immediately went up to 48th place.
