From 2021 metro in Moscow will be designed using BIM technologies

Starting from 2021, it is planned to design lines and metro stations in Moscow using information modeling technologies (BIM technologies). This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow on urban planning and construction policy Marat Khusnullin.

“During a recent trip to China, we signed an agreement with CRCC (China Railway Construction Corporation) to exchange experience in the field of information technology. In 2020, we plan to switch to BIM technologies in the field of metro construction” said Marat Khusnullin.

The Head of the Construction Complex noted that CRCC has accumulated extensive experience in working with information modeling technologies, and has also developed high-quality and modern software for this.
