Housing construction at the site of Khovrinskaya hospital to begin in april 2019
Housing construction at the site of the demolished Moscow dolgostroi – the building of the Khovrinsk hospital – is scheduled to begin in April next year. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Moscow Government on issues of urban planning and construction Marat Khusnullin.
“Currently, work is underway to dismantle the famous long-term construction project, the building of the Khovrinsky hospital. By the end of February, the dismantling of this object should be completed, but already now, in parallel, housing is being designed, which will appear here, ”said Marat Khusnullin.
According to the deputy mayor, the project will be ready within three to four months after the completion of the demolition.
“Thus, in April we will be able to start building new housing on this site, part of which will be transferred to immigrants under the renovation program,” the head of the building complex added.
Earlier it was reported that for the demolition of the Khovrinsky hospital high-rise excavators-destroyers are used, and the building itself is being dismantled from different directions to the center.
Khovrinskaya Hospital – Soviet unfinished, having a reputation as one of the “bad” places in Moscow. The hospital began to be built in the north of the city in 1980 according to a non-standard project for those times – it is made in the form of a triangular cross with branches at the ends, resembling a sign of biological danger. Within five years, the facility became protracted, and finally construction was discontinued in 1992.
