Housing construction cycle in Moscow averages 3 years – official
In Moscow the duration of construction cycle for residential projects averages 3 years, – said Rafael Lugansky, the Head of optimization and supervision in urban planning of the Moscow Department of City-Planning Policy, to RIA Realty.
He explained that it is a period from the initial idea to house commissioning.
“ It takes about 6 months to get a construction permit”,- clarified Rafael Lugansky.
He added that now the Moscow authorities are working to maximally optimize the construction period under the housing renovation program.
“In some cases we will shorten time frames; in others we will exclude some procedures. There will be a different way of proceeding, we will maximally optimize everything possible” – said Lugansky.
