Innovative development strategy for construction sector to be considered by Russian Government
Innovative development strategy for construction sector of Russia till 2030 will be considered by the Government of Russia in the next two weeks, said Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation Mikhail Men.
The main goal of the strategy is to create a competitive construction industry, which is able to form a comfortable and safe environment for citizens of the country. In addition, it must meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
According to Mikhail Men, the structure of the draft strategy is based on a block principle, it includes analysis of the current status and trends of the construction industry, evaluation of competitiveness of the Russian construction complex.
The project involves a lot of details: the priorities, goals and objectives, the main directions, alterations of the blueprint, performance targets, mechanisms and innovations in the field of construction, stages, terms and action plans for implementation of the strategy.
The minister mentioned widening of the taxable base of enterprises of the construction industry, as well as the increase in employment rates in the construction sector as the main expected outcomes of the strategy implementation.
In addition, introduction of BIM technologies, energy-efficient and resource-saving technologies will reduce the estimated cost of projects under construction, municipal services for citizens, as well as operating costs. An important point of implementation of the strategy is the ability to achieve efficiency growth of capital investments.
