Investors build 14 social objects in Moscow from the beginning of the year
10 kindergartens and schools and four sports facilities were built in Moscow at the expense of investors since the beginning of the year, said Sergei Levkin, head of the city’s urban planning policy department.
“Investors understand that their investment in housing is more interesting when there is infrastructure nearby that attracts people to buy this housing,” said Sergei Levkin in an interview with Moscow 24.
He added that five more social facilities were built and commissioned at the expense of the city’s budget.
Earlier, Moscow Deputy Mayor for Urban Planning and Construction, Marat Khusnullin, said that by the end of 2021, it was planned to build 62 educational facilities in the capital. “Today, about 40% of all social facilities – kindergartens, schools, clinics, cultural and sports facilities – are being built in Moscow with the money of investors”, said Marat Khusnullin. He specified that the proportion of investor construction projects of kindergartens and schools is about 30%.
“The development of social infrastructure remains one of the priority areas of the construction complex along with the construction of transport facilities and the metro”, Khusnullin emphasized.
