About 20 billion rubles of private investment will be allocated in construction of social infrastructure facilities in Moscow in the coming years, reported Marat Khusnullin, Deputy Mayor for urban policy and construction on June 1 at VIII Workshop “Dialogue with investor”.
“Urban planning policies is aimed at comprehensive and balanced development of territories. Over the past five years, investors have put about 20 billion rubles in construction of social infrastructure facilities nearby the newly constructed housing,” said Marat Khusnullin.
According to him, in the coming years private business is going to invest a similar amount for construction of kindergartens, schools, clinics and hospitals close to new residential areas.
“This approach allows us to create comfortable urban environment. Moreover, the construction of social facilities close to new homes allows avoiding excessive mileage and long trips around the city, which is ultimately improving the transport situation,” said Marat Khusnullin.
