KRT zones cause interest among developers and potential investors
Developers are showing great interest in the implementation of urban projects in the metropolitan areas of integrated sustainable development of territories (KRT), said the deputy head of the department for land use protection (Land use and development rules) of the Moscow City Architecture Committee Andrei Istomin.
“At meetings and seminars with developers and potential investors, regular questions arise regarding the characteristics of projects within the boundaries of industrial and municipal zones of the city, including within the boundaries of areas of integrated sustainable development of territories,” said Andrey Istomin.
According to him, the development of these territories implies both a socially-residential and a socio-industrial function, but the latter function prevails.
Earlier, the chairman of the Moscow City Architecture Committee, Juliana Kniazhevskaya, reported that 47 zones of complex development of territories with a total area of more than 490 hectares were allocated in Moscow.
“We have worked out urban areas and identified 47 zones of integrated development of territories, which are fixed in the rules of land use and development (PZZ). The total area of these zones is 491.2 hectares, ”said Juliana Knyazhevskaya.
About 49% of the total area of КРТ zones, which is about 240 hectares, is allocated for industrial construction, another 185 hectares (38%) for public development, and only 13% for 65 hectares for public housing.
