Levkin: two thirds of citizens ‘appeals to Urban Planning Policy department are related to issues of renovation
Over the past three months, the Department of Urban Planning Policy of Moscow received 3,091 citizens’ appeals, while more than two thirds of them – 2,047 – dealt with issues related to the renovation program. This was reported by the press service of the department.
“Renovation is still the most important topic of concern for citizens. Questions coming to the Department can be divided into two groups. The first concerns additional inclusion in the renovation program of the houses where the applicants reside, and the second contains requests for the immediate resettlement of houses that have already entered the renovation program”, – said Sergey Levkin, Head of Urban Planning Policy department
According to him, the residents of the Eastern Administrative District (847 appeals) and residents of the North-Eastern District (257 appeals) were most interested in the renovation program for the last three months (as of November 16). The least interest is paid to the residents of Zelenograd (3 appeals), TINAO (18 appeals) and the Southern Administrative District (65 applications).
