Marat Khusnullin: around 40 sports facilities will be built in Moscow in 3 years
Around 40 various sport facilities will be built in Moscow till 2021. It was told by the Deputy Mayor on Construction and Urban Planning Policy in Moscow Government Marat Khusnullin during the interview to “Interfax”
“We are creating sport infrastructure not only for sport of higher achievements, but also for residents who will be able to engage in any kind of sports in convenient access from both home and work”, – told Marat Khusnullin
He stressed out that according to social polls today every third Muscovite is regularly doing sports, at the same time 7 years ago those were less than two-thirds.
The Head of Construction Complex reminded that 88 sports facilities were opened in Moscow in 7 years. Among them are world-class facilities such as: “Luzhniki”, “Otkrytie Arena”, “VTB” Ice Palace, Center of water sports by Anastasia Davydova on “ZIL”, Rowing canal in Krylatskoe and “VEB Arena”
