The work of Russia to reduce administrative barriers in construction was appreciated not only by World Bank experts, but also by developers, said Deputy Mayor of Moscow for urban planning policy and construction Marat Khusnullin.

In the Doing Business Annual Rating, Russia ranked 31st in the world in terms of ease of doing business, rising by four points, and in accessibility of obtaining permits in construction, moved immediately up 67 positions to 48th.

“The assessment is very pleasant, but the most important thing for us is that it has become much easier for developers to work. When we first entered the rating a few years ago, we were in 162 place, and each year simplifying procedures in construction, reducing them, converting them into electronic form, we were able to rise so much, ”said Marat Khusnullin.

According to the deputy mayor, work in this direction will continue. A number of new solutions are already being prepared to reduce administrative barriers in construction.
