Marat Khusnullin: Plan of underground facilities to help in connection of newbuilds to utility networks
Creation of the Consolidated Plan of underground utilities and structures will help to upgrade process of connection of newly constructed buildings to utility networks and significantly reduce terms of engineering surveys for developers, said Marat Khusnullin, Deputy Mayor for urban policy and construction at the VIII seminar “Dialogue with investor”.
He noted that this plan will include underground parts of buildings, all kinds of existing and planned utility networks.
“Today, each construction project starts with careful study of underground utilities. It can change the details of project implementation – it is true both for buildings and structures. It is necessary to examine where the given network will be located, what will be the height of a building, its area. It may sound like a small point, but it greatly affects the development of any urban project,” said Marat Khusnullin.
He reminded that the Consolidated Plan is planned to be completed by the end of the year.
Drafting of the Consolidated Plan for the West, Northwest, North, Northeast and Zelenograd Administrative Okrugs is finished. For the rest of Moscow okrugs (with the exception of Troitsky and Novomoskovsky okrugs) the work is scheduled for completion before the end of the year.
