Marat Khusnullin: the World bank highly assessed the quality of construction in Moscow
According to the results of international studies of the World Bank, the quality of construction in Moscow is one of the highest among the world’s megacities. This was told by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Moscow Government on issues of urban planning and construction Marat Khusnullin.
“International experts praised the quality of control over the safety of buildings at all stages of construction – from design to operation. In terms of the “quality of construction control” indicator, Moscow gained 14 points out of 15, ”said Marat Khusnullin.
The head of the Construction Complex noted that according to this indicator, Moscow is on par with recognized leaders – Singapore, Ottawa and other leading megacities of the world.
“We have worked for many years with Mosgostroynadzor, allocated money, bought equipment, trained specialists, and this gave results – Moscow has very serious construction control, and therefore very high quality. All this is security, increasing consumer properties and ultimately increasing the attractiveness of the city, ”explained Marat Khusnullin.
Earlier, the World Bank published the annual Doing Business report, which examines the rules and regulations of the construction business in 190 countries. Russia ranked 31st in the world in this ranking, rising four positions in a year.
