Method of determining the cost of sq. meters of housing in the Russian federation will be modified
Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev instructed the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Public Utilities to finalize the methodology for determining the standard cost of square meters of housing, according to the government website.
“The Ministry of Construction of Russia, together with interested senior officials of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, to submit proposals to the government to finalize the methodology for determining the standard cost per square meter of total living space in the Russian Federation and the average market value of one square meter of living space in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation”, it says in the list of instructions of the prime minister following the meeting of the presidium of the president’s council for strategic development and national projects.
The methodology will be finalized in terms of determining the size of the average market value of 1 sq. Km. meters of the total area of residential premises in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, in whose territory this cost is not determined in the primary housing market.
In addition, Dmitry Medvedev instructed the Ministry of Construction and the federal executive authorities to work out the issue of the possibility of changing the approach to setting the construction price standard until September 5, based on which the amount of subsidies from the federal budget for the creation of new capital construction projects is calculated. First of all, to create additional places in preschool and educational institutions.
