Minstroi offered to include energy efficiency requirements into the project documentation


Russian Ministry of Construction Industry, Housing and Utilities Sector  developed and submitted for consideration by the Government of the Russian Federation a draft resolution, which establishes new requirements for project documentation.

In particular, the document assumes the mandatory inclusion of requirements for energy efficiency in the project documentation and equipping buildings under construction with meters of energy used.

“The project documentation should include lists of activities that will ensure compliance with the established requirements of energy efficiency and the requirements for equipping buildings, structures and structures with energy meters”, said Deputy Minister of the Russian Ministry of Construction Hamit Mavliyarov.

The project documentation, according to the new document, should contain information in which the accepted architectural, functional-technological, constructive and engineering solutions are used, which are used in the systems of electricity supply, water supply, gas supply, heating, ventilation and air conditioning of premises, heating networks in production facilities.

Also in the project should be additionally indicated the location of the metering devices used energy resources, devices for data collection and transmission, summary information on energy consumption and energy efficiency of the facility.

When the capital facility is put into operation, its compliance with the parameters specified in the design will be checked.
