Minstroy will simplify the technical certification procedure
The Ministry of Construction of Russia plans to simplify and open up the procedure for issuing technical certificates – permits confirming the suitability of new products for use in construction. The draft resolution has already been prepared and is under discussion, the press service of the department said.
“The draft resolution provides that the application for confirming the suitability of a new product, which contains identification information about the applicant, the name of the new product, the date and number of the conclusion on the suitability of this product, is submitted directly to the Russian Ministry of Construction. Thus, we are moving away from long chains of approval of the application, waiting for conclusions, the need to provide additional documents to the application. This all took months. With the adoption of the draft resolution, the deadline for considering the application will be no more than five working days”, said Andrei Basov, director of the FAU FCS.
It is assumed that this innovation will help reduce costs and reduce the construction time of facilities by one to two months.
“The changes significantly accelerate and streamline the procedures for confirming the suitability of new products for use in construction and, which has never happened, provide open access to information for all participants in urban planning activitie”, said Deputy Minister Dmitry Volkov.
