Moscow executes annual plan for input of transport facilities two times
Since the beginning of the year, 55 various transport facilities were built and put into operation in the capital, which is twice the planned figures. This was stated by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow on urban planning and construction Marat Khusnullin.
“This year was a record year for the commissioning of tunnels, ramps and bridges: instead of the planned 28 facilities, 55 have already been launched. There has been no such commissioning for a very long time,” said Marat Khusnullin.
The head of the Construction Complex noted that this year such significant objects as the new Krylatsky Bridge, a transport tunnel at the intersection of the Warsaw highway and Zheleznodorozhnaya Street, a double overpass over the Smolensky direction from Bozhenko Street to Gorbunov and The eastern chord was launched the longest overpass in Moscow – 2.5 km and a number of other objects.
Recall today, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin has opened a new turning overpass on the North-Eastern Chord in the area of its intersection with the North-Western Chord. “The new facility will improve the transport situation for residents of three districts of the north of the capital, and will also connect the north-eastern and north-western chords. In total, 127 kilometers of roads were built this year, ”said Sergei Sobyanin.
