Moscow fulfilled annual plan of real estate commissioning by 50 %
Since the beginning of the year, Moscow has built and commissioned over 4.2 mln sq. m of real estate, Andrey Bochkarev, deputy mayor of Moscow on urban planning and construction, said.
“Starting the beginning of the year, Moscow has commissioned over 4.2 mln sq. m of real estate including almost 2 mln sq. m of housing. It is a half of the annual plan”, – Andrey Bochkarev noted.
According to the head of the Construction complex, in five months 11 schools and pre-schools, 5 health facilities, 20 commercial and office complexes, 4 hotels and other buildings were built in Moscow.
“Almost 90% of all commissioned real estate was built at developers’ expense. It demonstrates good invest climate in Moscow, attractiveness of Moscow as a market for implementation of urban projects and arranged work of the city and business”, – Andrey Bochkarev noted.
The deputy mayor recalled that this year they are planning on commissioning around 8.5 mln sq. m of real estate despite coronavirus pandemic and related restrictive measures.
