Moscow has fulfilled the annual housing commissioning plan for the national project by 82%
Since the beginning of 2020, 2.95 million square meters of residential real estate have been built and commissioned in the capital, which is 82% of the planned regional target established by the national project “Housing and Urban Environment”, – Sergey Levkin, head of the Moscow City Planning Policy Department, said.
“For the city of Moscow in 2020, the national project” Housing and Urban Environment “set a target of 3.6 million square meters. As of September 28, Moscow builders commissioned 2.95 million square meters of residential real estate”, – said Sergey Levkin.
The head of the department noted that this year the builders had to intensively catch up on the time lost due to anti-epidemic restrictions, but Moscow managed to withstand the stated pace.
“Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin sets the task of creating a comfortable urban environment and improving the quality of life of Muscovites. This dictates the need to build not only housing, but also social infrastructure facilities – schools, clinics, sports and cultural facilities”, – added Sergey Levkin. According to him, in total in 2020 it is planned to introduce 8.5 million square meters of real estate in the capital.
