Moscow to build 800 facilities using three years budget
The construction of about 800 city facilities, taking into account the houses of the Renovation Fund, will be financed under the approved Targeted Investment Program (AIP) until the end of 2022, said Moscow Deputy Mayor for Urban Planning and Construction Marat Khusnullin at a meeting of the city government presidium.
“2.029 trillion rubles of budget allocations are provided for these facilities in 2020-2022. And taking into account the financing of the renovation program for the housing stock and the Skolkovo medical cluster facilities, the main volume of financing of which comes with separate subsidies, the allocation for capital investments for the next three years is 2.32 trillion rubles”, said Marat Khusnullin.
The head of the construction complex emphasized that the targeted investment program is a guarantee of fulfilling social obligations to Muscovites and the main driver of the development of the capital’s economy.
“AIP is a kind of tool to attract investment in various sectors of the urban economy and social sphere. For every ruble invested in the construction of infrastructure, the city receives three rubles of private investment in industry, innovation, trade and other areas. Sustainable AIP financing provides stable jobs”, added Khusnullin.
