Moscow to define in-force period of GPZU issued before July 1, 2017
The city authorities are preparing a decree which will determine the in-force period of development plans of land plots (GPZU) issued before July 1, 2017, said the Chairman of Moskomarchitectura, Julianna Knyazhevskaya at the seminar “Dialogue with investor”.
“Since January 1, it is necessary to adopt a document that will determine the fate of GPZU issued before the adoption of the land use and development rules. This may be a validity period of three to eight years,” said Julianna Knyazhevskaya.
As previously stated the Deputy Mayor for urban policy and construction Marat Khusnullin, land use and development rules (PZZ) have to be approved before July 1, 2017. Discussion on the amendments in this document with the residents will be concluded until the end of December.
According to the rules, the Moscow area will be divided into zones with clearly defined boundaries. The PZZ will define four indicators: the functional use of the territory, the land-use ratio, the ultimate density and height of buildings.
The adoption of the PZZ is required due to amendments to the City Planning Code of the Russian Federation.
