Moscow to develop a Geoinformation model simplifying technical connection
The Moscow government is working on the creation of a geographic information system that will help developers in the preliminary elaboration of projects, said the head of the Moscow City Planning Policy Department, Sergei Levkin.
He noted that as part of the work to optimize administrative procedures for developers in Moscow, it has already greatly simplified the collection of information on the conditions and limitations of land use.
“Firstly, the appropriate information infrastructure was created in Moscow – this is the Consolidated Plan of Underground Communications and Facilities in Moscow. Secondly, the composition of the GPZU has been significantly expanded, since 2017, information has been included on engineering networks located within the boundaries of the land plot and on technical conditions providing for the maximum load for connecting facilities to engineering and technical support networks, ”said Sergei Levkin.
The head of the department added that the possibility of providing, together with the GPZU, archival materials of engineering surveys from the information system for ensuring urban planning activity (ISOGD) is being studied.
“In addition, it is planned to create a geographic information system that allows real-time 3D models to display the location of points of connection to engineering networks and the availability of free power at each point,” said Sergei Levkin.
