Moscow will build three times more housing for the budget account
The volume of construction of housing, built in Moscow at the expense of budgetary funds, will triple thanks to the renovation program. This was told by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow on Urban Development Policy and Construction Marat Khusnullin.
“Now in the city at the expense of the budget annually about 600-700 thousand square meters of housing are being built. Of course, in the coming years the volume of construction in the city budget will grow, and within five years we will reach a level of about 2 million square meters per year”, said Marat Khusnullin.
According to him, the growth in housing construction will not lead to a sharp increase in the population. As previously noted Marat Khusnullin, the trend the last four or five years it shows that each year arrive in Moscow 40-50 thousand men.
“Neither the density nor the population will increase. A sharp surge in population growth, including, due to the renovation program, should not be expected. Rather, a redistribution of the population within the city”, said the deputy mayor.
