Moscow wins WEGO award

Moscow collected the reward of World E-Governments Organizations of Cities and Local Governments (‘WEGO’) within the framework of international contest of projects in the field of e-governance.

According to official portal of Moscow Mayor and Moscow Government, the capital won a special prize in the category special mention: Moscow (Russia): e-Government Services of Moscow City.

An extensive work to transfer state services to e-format has been done over the past 5 years. A number of state services available online has increased from 11 to 160. Almost all state services in the construction area are available today via internet.

More than 5,8 bln. muscovites use e-services. Moreover, 1,8 bln. of citizens use mobile app for these purposes.

It should be reminded that Moscow is a member of WEGO since 2015. World organization connects governments of cities which are interested in advancement of e-governance.
