Mosgosstroynadzor gives function of sanitary control for constructions
During the coronavirus pandemic, Mosgosstroynadzor will receive additional powers to monitor compliance with sanitary standards and requirements at construction sites in Moscow. The corresponding order was given to the city by Sergei Sobyanin, the head of the construction complex, Andrei Bochkarev.
“In addition to the administrative inspection, I believe that it is necessary to allocate construction supervision with functions to control the sanitary condition of the facilities and fulfill the requirements that are imposed on construction sites in terms of people’s safety during a pandemic,” said Sergei Sobyanin.
Deputy Mayor for Urban Planning and Construction Andrei Bochkarev noted that the primary task after the resumption of all construction projects on May 12 is to ensure sanitary safety at the facilities.
“From today, in addition to the construction of metro facilities, we begin to revive construction projects throughout Moscow. These are several hundred construction sites. The main task at this stage is the development of all technologies related to ensuring sanitary standards and ensuring the safety and health of workers at these facilities. First of all, this concerns the organization of work in staff dormitories”, Andrei Bochkarev explained.
The deputy mayor noted that the list of sanitary standards includes the processing of vehicles with disinfectants.
“Every day, the health status of our builders and engineers, their temperature, compliance with the wearing of protective equipment will be monitored. Also, every week we will monitor, including the construction supervision authorities, the implementation of necessary measures at construction sites”, said Andrei Bochkarev.
He added that employees are given disposable masks and tools for treating hands. Indoor air disinfection is carried out using a UV irradiator, wet cleaning using disinfectants.
