National project “Housing and urban environment” is completed in Moscow by 40%
In the first quarter of 2020 Moscow constructed 1.47 mln sq. meters of housing. It is about 40% of annual plan approved by the national project “Housing and urban environment”, Sergey Levkin, head of Moscow urban planning department, said.
The head of department said that during the same period of 2019 Moscow commissioned 1.32 mln sq. meters, about 37% of the plan.
“According to the national project “Housing and urban environment” Moscow has a plan of commissioning 3.6 mln sq. meters in 2020. During the first three months of the current year Moscow commissioned 1.47 mln sq. meters of housing or over 40% of annual plan”, – Sergey Levkin said.
He also reminded that the national project aims to increase of housing construction volume to 120 mln sq. meters by 2024 as a whole in Russia.
“Moscow has a good base for successful accomplishment of annual amount approved by the national project. It is especially relevant today when the city functions in the regime of high readiness due to coronavirus spread”, Sergey Levkin noted.
