New set of rules will be developed for high-rise construction
Four new codes of rules (SP) will be developed for the construction of high-rise buildings until the end of 2017. This was told by Alexander Stepanov, deputy director of the Department of Urban Development and Architecture of the Ministry of Construction of Russia.
One of the new documents will contain requirements for the rules of operation of high-rise buildings, including – to ensure the safety of residents and visitors of facilities, to monitoring and operational control, to maintenance of engineering systems, to fire safety, as well as basic safety regulations for carrying out of current and major repairs.
Another set of rules will include requirements for space-planning and structural solutions of buildings; to ensure the safe evacuation of people; fire safety and fire protection systems.
The third document will establish modern requirements for designing the planning and development of high-rise buildings and complexes, taking into account urban planning, sanitary and epidemiological and fire safety standards, ensuring the availability of facilities for low-mobility citizens.
And another set of rules will be aimed at regulating the processes of production and acceptance of foundations of high-rise buildings and structures, the construction of grounds for the construction of new high-rise facilities.
“In 2018, we plan to approve these codes of rules” – said Alexander Stepanov, deputy director of the Department for Urban Development and Architecture.
