Russian President Vladimir Putin in the next series of TASS video interviews spoke about the improvements that have been made in the field of doing business over the past decade, which have positively affected our country’s position in international ratings.

The head of state, in particular, noted that thanks to the changes Russia has risen to 28th place in the World Bank Doing Business rating. “This suggests that, nevertheless, the efforts of the state are stepping up and give a positive result. The number of investments is growing. We had investments in the early 2000s, in my opinion, if measured in dollars, a billion dollars. Then it went into the tens. We already have over 540 billion direct investments, ”said Vladimir Putin.

The President emphasized that in the current situation, the state’s task is to continue working on creating better conditions for investments, including through measures to regulate inflation and the development of various areas of small business.
