PWC: almost 60% of Muscovites support new construction in the city
Almost 60% of Muscovites support new construction in the city, according to the materials of the consulting company PWC, which conducted a study of the level and dynamics of urban development of the world’s largest megacities.
As noted in them, about 84% of Muscovites notice the new construction, 33% of them feel the discomfort associated with these works, while 57% of the inhabitants of the Russian capital believe in long-term goals of the city.
“Moscow – the only city with a high intensity of construction activities, residents who notice the process and the changes taking place,” – said in the presentation of the study.
It notes that although against a background of considerable scale of construction, Muscovites do not always have sufficient information about the city’s policy and specific objects, nevertheless they are more sure than other cities that the newly constructed facilities make their life more comfortable.
