Regulatory basis in construction actualize taking into account new technologies  


The plans of the Ministry of Construction of Russia for 2019 – to update the regulatory framework for the exclusion of obsolete materials and technologies, said the head of the department Vladimir Yakushev.

“In the outgoing year, the work on standardization was aimed at ensuring the safety of buildings and structures, introducing innovative information modeling technologies, energy efficient and polymer composites, creating an interstate regulatory framework in the field of construction, taking into account the requirements of international standards. Special attention was paid to the development of regulatory documents related to innovative materials and technologies. Next year, the updating of the regulatory framework will focus on the implementation of the indicators of the National Project “Housing and Urban Environment”, which will introduce advanced materials and technologies in design and construction and impose restrictions on the use of obsolete ones, he explained.

According to the minister, the scientific basis for this work has already been prepared in the past year – 78 applied research has been carried out. By 2019, 80 standards are being approved, 53 new sets of rules are being developed, updating of previously approved joint ventures in engineering surveys, designing bases and foundations, designing in seismic areas, operation of residential, public and industrial buildings and structures, transport facilities.
