Residential houses on ZIL are designed using Bim-technologies
Information modeling technologies (BIM) help to create buildings in the territory of the former plant Likhachev (ZIL), said the chief architect of Moscow, Sergei Kuznetsov.
According to him, this allows teams of architects to work in a single field, synchronizing actions online.
“A huge plus of BIM-modeling is that all the team members who work on the project have access to a single 3D model of the building and everyone can simultaneously do their part. ZIL is built up with complex multifunctional objects. For the puzzle to take shape, a high level of coordination is required”, said S. Kuznetsov.
BIM-technology allows to minimize the number of possible errors in comparison with 2D-design. In addition, BIM-modeling speeds up the process – members of the team of designers work simultaneously.
In the future, it will be possible to “load” other houses, districts and even entire cities to the project. In the near future, all those who work on the appearance of the city will be able to do it in a single field, synchronizing their actions online.
