Russia among top 10 countries in world ranking for registering property
Russia is among the top ten countries in the world ranking for registering property and in the top 50 in terms of starting a business, connecting to utilities, getting credit, enforcing contracts and taxation. This was announced by the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Economic Development Stanislav Voskresensky.
“The main thing in our work is not rankings, the key point is to achieve real results, to make the entrepreneurs feel improvement of the business environment in Russia,” said Stanislav Voskresensky, reports TASS.
According to the expert, for the second consecutive year Russia is ahead of the BRICS countries in the rankings.
“However, there is still room to move as long as our country is at a lower position in terms of the construction and trading across borders,” said the Deputy Head of the Economic Development Ministry.
It is to be reminded that Russia being on the 40th place in the rankings, is far ahead of other BRICS countries: South Africa ranked 74th place, China – 78th, Brazil – 123th, and India – 130th.
