Russia overpasses France by indicators of business convenience
Everything is being done to create comfortable working conditions for foreign investors, President Vladimir Putin told during a meeting with top managers of the largest French companies
The head of state noted progress in the development of bilateral relations. “Last year, bilateral trade grew by 11 percent, reaching 17 billion dollars. The volume of French investments is more than 18 billion dollars in the Russian economy”, said Vladimir Putin.
The President recalled that today more than 600 French companies or companies with a share of French capital are operating in the Russian market. The Russian government is constantly working to maintain a comfortable business climate in our country.
“We pay constant attention to removing administrative barriers and ensuring the optimal tax burden. Thanks to this, Russia this year has risen in the World Bank’s ranking of doing business at once by four positions and ranked 31st. We overtook France by one line. And I hope you, in Russia, in any case, work as well as in France”, said Vladimir Putin.
The head of state outlined a number of opportunities for further cooperation with foreign partners, including participation in the implementation of national projects.
