Russian Government works on the improvement of investment climate

Russia is actively working on the execution of presidential decrees aimed at improving the investment climate and increasing the volume of private investment in the country’s economy, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said during a meeting with members of the Government.

“We are talking about systematic work to improve the business climate – this is a reduction in administrative costs. You also set the task of abolishing all redundant and obsolete requirements that hinder business by 2021. Such work has already begun, ”Anton Siluanov reported to the President.

The Minister clarified that at present the Russian Government is implementing a number of measures to reduce administrative barriers for the construction business. “A mechanism has been launched to transform the business climate, where it is envisaged to shorten the connection time to networks, switch to providing state and municipal services in the field of urban planning in electronic form, approve and simplify the procedure in the field of international trade,” he said.
