Since the beginning of the year, almost 5,3 million square meters of real estate have been built in Moscow
Real estate commissioning volumes in Moscow are higher than planned, despite the pandemic of coronavirus, said Andrei Bochkarev, deputy mayor of Moscow for urban planning and construction, on the eve of Builder’s Day.
«Despite the restrictions in force in Moscow related to the spread of a new coronavirus infection, the volume of real estate commissioning in the first seven months of the year amounted to about 5,3 million square meters, including 2,4 million square meters. m of housing, which is higher than planned», – said Andrei Bochkarev.
The head of the Construction Complex explained that the achievement of such results was possible, including due to the translation of many processes of the construction cycle into electronic form and the continuation of work remotely. The deputy mayor noted that a significant part of real estate was introduced by investors – about 90%.
Earlier, Andrei Bochkarev reported that at the end of the year it is planned to commission about 8,5 million square meters. m of real estate, of which about 3,6 million square meters is housing.
